Travel is never a matter of money but of courage

What we get out of life is what we have the courage to ask for....

so if we wait until we're ready, we'll be waiting for the rest of our lives.

You will never be as young as you are right now.... if that doesn't give you the motivation to take charge of your wanderlust then I don't know what will...

Ask yourself now.... what do you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

I'm sure my children will appreciate when I tell them that I backpacked Alaska, Canada & 10 states of the USA solo, that I carried a 28 kg backpack and walked for hours with my thumb on the side of highways trying to catch a lift. Or that time I had to use Bear Deterrent on a Grizzly Bear because it was false charging a group of us. I will not tell them about my days being a telemarketer or how I worked at a fast food joint. I won't tell them about the maths exam I failed in ninth grade or that the boy I liked kissed my best friend.

I will tell them what matters... my adventures.

That being said it is not an adventure until you leave your old self behind.When I reflect back on the person I was prior to leaving on the 24th of April 2013 I don't even know who she is any more. I look at photos of me and I don't see me. I don't connect with her anymore, I think that in itself is a beautiful thing because I have tackled challenges within myself. I have become a better person who learns from everywhere and anyone.

 Travel is a therapy and to be completely honest with you it saved my life. I used to be incredibly depressed. When I started this adventure I did it because I was running away, I said goodbye to no one and no one was at my departure gate. I ran away... as far as possible.

Today I am not running from my life... I am now running it. I am in charge of how I feel & I will choose happiness every single god damn time.

With me finding this inner strength I have inspired so many people.I now see that success isn't just about what you accomplish it's about what you inspire others to do.

We are all worthy for happiness, for no other reason than we are alive. We are worthy of love, support, happiness, health, success & travel. Worthy of exactly what we desire in our life. Stop holding back or limiting yourself because you believe you're unworthy or that you won't succeed. Take action!
